Overview
Description

Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale built around squads of “Legends” with unique abilities, praised for its fast, fluid movement, gunplay, and ping communication system.

In Defcon 5 you navigate a maze‑like underground complex from a first‑person perspective, shuttling between manned turrets and the base’s interior. Your mission is to shoot down waves of enemy fighters, locate card keys, and manage the Virtual Operating System that runs the facility’s defenses. The game blends shooter action with strategic system management: repair damage, deploy robot sentries, and upgrade the OS to automate turret control. Ultimately you must secure clearance to self‑destruct the base, protect your escape shuttle, and survive the final escape.

So much fun

Apex Legends has been my go-to lately. Strong hero design. One gripe: steep aim skill ceiling. Would recommend.
