Overview
Description

CapCut is a free, beginner-friendly video editor built for short-form social content, with templates, auto-captions, and one-tap effects. Owned by ByteDance, it integrates tightly with TikTok-style vertical video workflows.

Elmedia Player is a macOS media player built by Eltima that plays nearly any video or audio format without needing extra codec packs, including MP4, MKV, AVI, FLAC, and WAV. It adds subtitle search and syncing, a 10-band audio equalizer, and timeline preview thumbnails to make navigating long files easier. Beyond local playback, Elmedia can stream content directly to Apple TV, Chromecast, Roku, and other DLNA-enabled devices from the Mac it is running on. Core playback, subtitles, and playlists are free, while advanced tools such as color adjustment, screenshot series capture, and streaming to external devices require unlocking the Pro version.
