Overview
Description

Discord is a communication platform organized around servers and channels, hugely popular with gaming and online communities but increasingly used by all kinds of groups. It combines text, voice, and video with rich bots and integrations.

Sitch pairs an AI matchmaker, trained on the dating know-how of a professional matchmaker, with real curation to set singles up on dates rather than handing them an endless swipe deck. Users interact conversationally, answering questions about what they are looking for, and Sitch surfaces a match based on that conversation instead of a static profile browse. The service currently operates in five major U.S. metro areas: New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Austin, and sells matchmaking access in set-up packs rather than a typical monthly subscription. Sitch has raised funding from M13 and a16z and was co-founded by third-generation matchmaker Nandini Mullaji.
