Overview
Description

The Gaggia Classic Pro E24 is a single-boiler home espresso machine built in Italy, and the current iteration of a design that has been the standard recommendation for entry-level real espresso for decades. It uses a commercial-size 58mm portafilter, meaning baskets, tampers and distribution tools from the professional world fit it directly, and a three-way solenoid valve that releases pressure from the puck after extraction so the spent grounds knock out dry. Being a single boiler, it brews and steams from the same heating vessel, so you wait between pulling a shot and steaming milk. The steam wand is a commercial-style articulating wand rather than a panarello aid, which means it demands technique but can produce proper microfoam. It is also the most heavily modified espresso machine in the hobby, with a large ecosystem of upgrades for temperature control and pressure profiling.

The Ninja Air Fryer Max XL uses rapid hot air circulation to crisp food with up to 75% less fat than traditional deep frying, while a 5.5-quart capacity accommodates family-sized portions of fries, wings, or a whole chicken. A Max Crisp technology setting reaches higher temperatures for extra-crispy results comparable to deep frying, and a wide temperature range allows both air frying and dehydrating in the same unit. The non-stick, dishwasher-safe basket and crisper plate simplify cleanup, while an easy-to-read digital display with preset cooking programs takes the guesswork out of common dishes.

Does exactly what we need

Been a regular user of Ninja Air Fryer Max XL for a while now. Genuinely crispy results. One minor gripe: basket coating may wear over years of use, but it hasn't been a dealbreaker. Would recommend.

Decent but has rough edges

Ninja Air Fryer Max XL is solid overall, though it's not perfect. On the plus side, large capacity for family cooking. That said, can be loud during operation, which held us back from rating it higher.

I picked up Ninja Air Fryer Max XL a while back and haven't looked back. Versatile with dehydrate mode. One minor gripe: takes significant counter/storage space, but it hasn't been a dealbreaker. Would recommend.
