Overview
Description
Air Buster is a 1990 horizontal scrolling shooter that builds on the legacy of R‑Type, Gradius and Truxton. It offers fast‑paced, sci‑fi combat with a unique two‑player co‑operative mode. Developed and published by Kaneko (with Tec Toy handling distribution), the game delivers retro pixel graphics, power‑up upgrades and challenging boss encounters, all playable on PC.
The game supports single‑player, competitive two‑player, and cooperative modes, with lives lost on contact and extra lives awarded for high scores. Completing all stages ends with the heroes driving off into a sunset on Easter Island.
