Black & White 2: Battle of the Gods vs Populous II: The Challenge Games

Black & White 2: Battle of the Gods is an official expansion pack for Lionhead Studios' acclaimed god game, Black & White 2. In this installment, players face an opposing deity for the very first time as the remnants of the defeated Aztec nation resurrect themselves through grisly rituals to spawn a new god of death, raising terrifying undead armies to seek ultimate vengeance. Building upon the core mechanics of the original title, the expansion challenges players to flex their divine powers once again. You must nurture your followers, command your giant Creature, and manage miraculous interventions to defend your civilization against a supernatural enemy that commands the forces of the afterlife.

Populous II: The Challenge Games is an expansion pack for the seminal god‑game Populous II, adding a suite of new scenarios that test players' ability to shape terrain and guide followers. Released at the end of 1992, it builds on Bullfrog's innovative gameplay with fresh challenges and enhanced AI opponents. The pack includes historical and fantasy maps, a scenario editor for custom creations, and multiplayer modes that let friends compete or cooperate in divine conquest. It remains a beloved title for fans of early real‑time strategy and simulation games.
