Overview
Description

After the defeat of D'Sparil in Heretic, Hexen transports players to the decaying world of Cronos, where the Serpent Rider Korax threatens to plunge the realm into chaos. Three heroes—a warrior, a mage, and a cleric—must navigate elemental dungeons, wilderness, and a necropolis to stop his evil regime. The game blends first‑person shooting, spellcasting, and puzzle solving, offering both single‑player and split‑screen multiplayer experiences. Players can run, walk, fly, and explore a richly detailed fantasy‑horror environment while hunting powerful artifacts and mastering unique class abilities.

Hexen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel is the official expansion to the original HeXen, adding 20 brand‑new single‑player levels crafted by the original development team. The pack also introduces three new hubs and a host of multiplayer options, expanding the dark fantasy world with fresh challenges and lore. The expansion was groundbreaking for Raven Software, being the first to support eight players on a LAN and the first true game expansion they produced. Available on PC and Mac, it blends shooter action, role‑playing elements, and fantasy themes for both solo and multiplayer experiences.
