Overview
Description

Monster Hunter Stories lets you become a Rider, forging bonds with monsters you hatch from eggs and battle alongside them. The game shifts from the series' traditional hunting focus to a story-driven, turn‑based combat system that emphasizes strategy and kinship techniques. Explore a vibrant fantasy world, customize your monsters’ abilities and appearance, and experience both single‑player quests and multiplayer encounters on the go.

Monster Rancher Advance lets players create monsters by entering letters, numbers, and symbols into a shrine, unlocking up to eight characters as they rise in trainer rank. With 440 monster types, each creature has distinct attributes and can be customized through feeding, drills, and attack training. The game features single‑player tournaments to earn money and two‑player link‑cable battles where you can trade items, cash, and monsters. As monsters age they can become coaches or be bred for stronger offspring, adding depth to the open‑ended simulation.
