Overview
Description

In the year 2090, humanity faces an alien onslaught from the Cranassians. The World Alliance Military deploys the Raiden Supersonic Attack Fighter, a captured alien craft turned weapon, to turn the tide. Players pilot this craft through eight vertical scrolling missions, dodging enemy fire, destroying robots, buildings, and aircraft while collecting bombs, missiles, and medals for high scores. After defeating the Stage 8 boss, the mission loops back to Stage 1 with faster enemies, rewarding players with a million points per loop. The game offers both single‑player and cooperative modes, delivering classic arcade action on the PlayStation 3.

Raiden IV brings the iconic thunderous action of the Raiden series to the Xbox 360, delivering fast‑paced vertical shooting with modern graphics and tight controls. Players pilot a powerful fighter jet, blasting through waves of enemy craft and massive bosses while collecting upgrades and mastering intricate bullet patterns. The game supports both solo play and cooperative missions, letting friends team up to tackle the relentless onslaught together. With its retro‑arcade feel and polished presentation, Raiden IV offers a nostalgic yet fresh experience for shooter enthusiasts.
