Roborock S8 Pro Ultra vs Vileda Steam Mop 2-in-1

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra combines robot vacuuming and mopping with a dock that automatically washes and hot-air dries the mop pad after each cleaning cycle, addressing the common complaint of dirty, smelly mop pads with other robot vacuum systems. A retractable mop lifts automatically when the robot detects carpet, preventing wet mopping cloths from soaking carpeted areas while vacuuming continues normally across all floor types. Reactive AI 2.0 obstacle avoidance combined with LiDAR navigation and multi-level mapping lets it clean multiple floors of a home intelligently, remembering furniture layout and no-go zones set through the companion app.

The Vileda Steam Mop 2-in-1 combines a powerful steam mop with a detachable handheld steamer, letting you tackle both hard floors and stubborn stains on upholstery, tiles, and grout. Its quick‑heat technology delivers up to 120 °C of steam in seconds, sanitising surfaces without chemicals and leaving a fresh shine. Designed for everyday use, the mop features a lightweight aluminum frame, a swivel head for easy maneuvering, and a removable water tank that refills in under a minute. The 2‑in‑1 functionality means you can switch from floor cleaning to spot‑cleaning with a single device, saving space and time in busy households.
