Overview
Description

Stryker's Run is a 2D side‑scrolling action game set in a futuristic war. Players control Commander John Stryker as he races to escape with vital enemy plans and reach Allied headquarters. Armed with a laser pistol, grenades, and the ability to commandeer aircraft, Stryker must battle a wide array of Volgan weapons while navigating a single scrolling landscape. The game features split‑screen multiplayer, allied soldiers that can fire back, and a variety of enemy units ranging from riflemen to SAM missiles.

Tony, a police officer, and his sister are abducted by alien invaders and forced onto a mysterious planet. With the help of a telepathic mech, Tony gains powerful abilities to fight the alien army and save his sister before the galaxy is conquered. The game blends classic platforming with arcade action, featuring power‑ups, one‑hit mech loss, and bizarre enemies like dogs and musical notes. Players experience a story that flips gender roles between the Japanese and international releases, delivering a nostalgic 1991 arcade experience.
