Sonic the Hedgehog 3

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 continues the high‑speed platform adventure on the Sega Genesis, picking up right after the events of Sonic 2. After the Death Egg crashes onto Angel Island, Sonic and Tails must retrieve the Chaos Emeralds while confronting the island’s guardian, Knuckles the Echidna, who has been misled into opposing them. The game expands the classic side‑scrolling formula with new zones, a split‑screen two‑player mode, and the ability to transform into Super Sonic using collected emeralds, culminating in a showdown aboard the Death Egg’s launch base.
