Face Symmetry Test vs FaceRate.ai

Face Symmetry Test is a free, AI-powered web tool that tells you how symmetrical your face is in a single photo. You simply upload one picture, and the tool detects your face, places 68 landmark points along your jaw, eyebrows, eyes, nose, and mouth, then draws a vertical midline through your face. It measures seven feature pairs — eyes, eyebrows, ears, nose, mouth, upper cheeks, and lower cheeks — against that line, scoring each pair independently and averaging them into an overall symmetry number from 0 to 100.

FaceRate.ai is an AI-powered face analysis platform that promises to rate and analyze facial attractiveness with a score out of 10. Instead of relying only on a single overall number, the tool breaks the face down into individual features such as the eyes, nose, mouth, and overall face shape, then explains how each part contributes to the final impression. This feature-level approach makes it both a curiosity-driven self-assessment tool and a practical reference for creative professionals. The platform also includes a detailed face shape analyzer and a Golden Ratio Face Test that evaluates symmetry and aesthetic appeal using the well-known mathematical ratio. Users can upload a clear face photo or paste a written description of their face, and the AI immediately generates a score and analysis. In addition to analysis, FaceRate.ai can generate a realistic artistic image based on the same input and add insights into personality, emotions, and expressions. FaceRate.ai is aimed at individuals curious about how others might perceive their face, as well as artists, designers, influencers, models, and photographers who want to understand facial symmetry, proportions, and standout features. It is positioned as a quick, web-based tool for getting instant feedback and ideas for improving artwork, planning photoshoots, or simply exploring facial aesthetics through the lens of AI and the golden ratio.
