Overview
Description

Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar is an expansion to the acclaimed 4X turn‑based strategy game, adding a new powerful AI opponent, additional races, and a wealth of content that deepens the galaxy‑building experience. Set in a richly detailed science‑fiction universe, players explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate across a procedurally generated galaxy while managing diplomacy, research, and warfare. The expansion introduces the Dark Avatar faction, new ship designs, and enhanced AI that challenges even veteran commanders. With robust mod support and extensive customization options, the game offers endless replayability for strategy enthusiasts on PC.

X‑Tension is the expansion pack for X: Beyond the Frontier, adding a non‑linear mission system, dozens of new ships, and the ability to capture pirate vessels. It broadens the universe with over 40 new sectors, more than 90 trade locations, and introduces the larger TL class freighter in the Version 2 update. The expansion lets players trade over 50 goods, interact with five unique alien races, and defend against the hostile Xenon, delivering a deeper 4X experience on PC.
