Overview
Description

Galactic Civilizations II: Twilight of the Arnor expands the classic 4X experience with a richly detailed galaxy, advanced AI opponents, and a robust empire‑building toolkit. Players explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate across thousands of star systems while shaping the destiny of humanity. The game offers a single‑player campaign that challenges strategic thinking, diplomacy, and tactical combat. With extensive mod support and customizable ship designs, each playthrough feels fresh, rewarding both newcomers and veteran strategists.

X‑Tension is the expansion pack for X: Beyond the Frontier, adding a non‑linear mission system, dozens of new ships, and the ability to capture pirate vessels. It broadens the universe with over 40 new sectors, more than 90 trade locations, and introduces the larger TL class freighter in the Version 2 update. The expansion lets players trade over 50 goods, interact with five unique alien races, and defend against the hostile Xenon, delivering a deeper 4X experience on PC.
