Ahrefs

Ahrefs is a search marketing platform built around a large proprietary web index, giving users tools to research keywords, analyze competitor backlinks and traffic, track search rankings, and find technical SEO issues on their own sites. Core modules include Site Explorer for competitor analysis, Keywords Explorer for search demand research, Rank Tracker for monitoring positions, Content Explorer for content and link opportunities, and Site Audit for technical SEO checks.

Moz Pro

Moz Pro is an SEO platform combining keyword research through Keyword Explorer, rank tracking across search engines and locations, site crawling and auditing for technical SEO issues, and competitive and SERP analysis. Newer AI-powered features analyze search intent, group keyword suggestions, and surface brand-mention insights across AI/LLM search results in addition to traditional Google rankings. Every plan includes MozBar, a browser SEO toolbar, on-page optimization grading, custom reporting for agencies and in-house teams, and access to Moz Academy's SEO training courses. Moz Pro is priced across four tiers from Starter at roughly $39/month (billed annually) up to larger-scale plans, targeting SEO professionals, agencies, and marketers who need both day-to-day SEO tools and a way to prove results to clients or leadership.

SpyFu

SpyFu is a competitive intelligence platform for search marketing that shows every keyword a domain has ranked for organically and every keyword it has bid on in Google Ads, along with historical ad copy. Marketers use it to reverse-engineer competitor SEO and PPC strategy, find keyword gaps, and track their own rankings.

Rybbit

Rybbit is an open source alternative to Google Analytics built for teams that want detailed behavioral insight without tracking cookies or bloated scripts. A single 18 KB tag captures pageviews, clicks, form submissions, link clicks, and errors automatically, and the dashboard turns that data into real-time views, conversion funnels, user journeys, and Core Web Vitals reports. Beyond standard analytics, Rybbit adds session replay so teams can watch real visitor sessions to debug UX issues, plus an MCP server that lets AI assistants query site analytics directly. It ships as a self-hostable Docker stack on ClickHouse and Postgres, or as a managed cloud service, and is GDPR/CCPA compliant out of the box since it never sets tracking cookies.

SE Ranking

SE Ranking is an SEO platform that combines traditional rank tracking with keyword research, competitor analysis, backlink monitoring, and website auditing in one workspace. It also tracks brand visibility inside AI-driven search experiences like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, extending beyond classic search engine rankings. Built with agencies and growing businesses in mind, SE Ranking includes white-label reporting, an Agency Pack for client-facing work, and content tools like an AI writer and content editor. Used by tens of thousands of agencies across more than 150 countries, it positions itself as a more affordable full-suite alternative to the largest SEO platforms.

Ubersuggest

Ubersuggest is an SEO and keyword research tool built by Neil Patel's NP Digital, offering keyword suggestions from a 100-million-term database, competitor analysis, site audits, content gap analysis, backlink data, and daily rank tracking. Newer AI features surface which brands get mentioned by AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini alongside traditional Google keyword data. Ubersuggest is positioned as a lower-cost alternative to tools like Ahrefs or Semrush, with monthly plans across Individual, Business, and Enterprise tiers as well as one-time lifetime-access pricing. It targets solo site owners, small businesses, and marketers doing their own SEO who want an accessible, budget-friendly toolset over an enterprise-grade suite.
